Troy Polamalu is a professional American football strong safety for the Pittsburgh Steelers of the National Football League. He was drafted in the 1st round (16th overall) of the 2003 NFL Draft by the Steelers. He played college football at the University of Southern California.
Polamalu is known for his hard hitting, tenacious playing style and his distinct long curly hair. Since joining the Steelers in 2003, he has helped lead the team to two Super Bowl championships.
