One sunny spring afternoon three friends and senior business executives sat at a neighborhood eatery for lunch and some friendly banter. The friends, avid golfers all, disagreed when the conversation turned to which of the Swiss watchmakers was endorsed by Phil Mickelson. Who was his sponsor? Did Phil sport a Rolex, an Omega, or perhaps a Tag Heuer? The three immediately agreed upon the need for an informational website providing a database of all things sponsorship and endorsement related. Thus was Who is Your Sponsor? (WYS?) born.
